For a therapeutic dose (for a pet suffering from joint/mobility issues and pain), multiply your pet's weight by 18.75 to get the recommended amount of mg needed daily for therapeutic support for your pet.

Example: 

40lb dog with moderate arthritis 

40 x 18.75 = 750mg daily

As there are 500mg per tablet, you would want to issue 1 1/2 tablets daily.

Optimal issue for this example pet: 1 tablet in AM, 1/2 tablet in PM
